The 2026 Hot Topics in Cancer Symposium will be held in Lansing on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

This year’s symposium will spotlight the latest advancements in comprehensive cancer care, featuring expert speakers and interactive panel discussions across surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, gastroenterology, interventional radiology, and more. As in previous years, this will be an AMA PRA Category 1 CME event.

Call for Abstracts - Why Submit Your Abstract?

The symposium is a regional platform to showcase cancer-related research, connect with fellow professionals, and contribute to advancing cancer care through valuable dialogue and collaboration. Faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students are eligible to present.

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts must be submitted via https://forms.office.com/r/JxvHaMnqa2.
Abstracts must be organized as Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions and must not exceed 300 words.
The final submission deadline will be Tuesday, September 1.
